Rebuilding Together New Orleans had a budget of over $3.8 million for July 2008-June 2009. Public funding comprised most of the funding with over 59 percent of the budget, while another 23 percent was sourced from faith-based organizations. RTNO corporate funding, volunteer fees, and personal donations made up over 12 percent.

In the fiscal year 2010, Rebuilding Together New Orleans has already received a commitment of over $1.0 from the Community Development Block Grant program of the U.S. department of Housing and Urban Development with an objective of rehabilitating 200 houses, further demonstrating our track record of reliability and success.

More than 3,085 volunteers from around the country have come to New Orleans to work on RTNO projects providing over 45,484 labor hours worth over $1.0 million in market value.

Fiscal Year 2010 Revenue Stream

In Fiscal Year 2010, RTNO received $4,391,041.00 in grants, donations, and sales. Just over $3,098,686 (or 80% of our total revenue) was spent on construction costs and went directly into the rebuilding of homes. The remaining 20% was used for administration costs.
