Last summer, Rebuilding Together New Orleans opened began accepting applications from homeowners in the Gentilly neighborhood, opening up assistance to its seventh neighborhood in New Orleans.

After over eight months of varying obstacles, Rebuilding Together New Orleans is coming into the final stages of receiving funds from the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency (LHFA) for three of its homeowners.

This spring infused a new enthusiasm and excitement throughout New Orleans. A Super Bowl win, a jam-packed Mardi Gras and a change in city government have established a hopeful anticipation for the city’s future. Building on the recently energized momentum of the city, Rebuilding Together New Orleans is preparing for a busy summer.
