Martin Luther King Day of Service
The PRC & RTNO main office may have been closed yesterday, but like thousands of other Americans, from the President and his family community and school groups across the country, RTNO AmeriCorps members pledged a day on for service.

With the office closed, RTNO VISTAs took part in a special service project in City Park, sealing a deck and laying down mulch for a park trail. Out in the field, AmeriCorps house captains kept up the work, performing home repairs and improvements and leading volunteer teams during their own day of service projects!
Besides ourselves, other Rebuilding Together affiliates coordinated their own Martin Luther King Day projects, and 60 members from Rebuilding Together’s CapacityCorps traveled to Pennsylvania to join forces and serve with Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh. Together they performed a number of critical home repair services in the community.
Feeling inspired? Took part in a MLK Day volunteer project and want to continue to give back?
