This season, join RTNO and help New Orleans homeowners return home for the holidays!
Today, many New Orleans homeowners still remain displaced and unable to return. Ms. Dusset, a born and raised Gentilly, has been away for more than 6 years. She is just one such example. But today, one year after starting work on her house in late September of 2010, her home’s rebuilding is coming to a close. Rebuilding Together New Orleans hopes to have Ms. Dusset back in her house by the holidays, but many other homeowners, just like her, are still waiting to come back home.

After six years away from home, to not spend another holiday away from New Orleans town or in someone else’s home or building is many of our homeowner’s earnest wish. Like so many of us, they long to share the holidays with their family and prepare a home cooked meal in their own home. In addition to getting our homeowners back, Rebuilding Together New Orleans’ is dedicated to returning them to a safe and healthy home. With your help and support, Ms. Dusset and many of other homeowners will celebrate this holiday season with her family. Any amount can help. $18 can buy a gallon of paint. $115 can purchase a door. Sharing this cause with 5 other people can help us get that much closer to reaching the goal of raising $1,000. Volunteering can directly help rebuild a home.
