Give Your Time to Rebuilding Together New Orleans

Volunteer
All volunteers must be 15 or older. Work projects are available Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. While we prefer a minimum of two workdays we are happy to work with groups to schedule meaningful service days that can fit almost any schedule. All volunteers will be asked to sign waivers of liability (those under 18 will require a parent or guardian signature), but will also be given a safety overview and general orientation onsite.
Jobs performed on the house will vary according to the work scope and may consist of skilled or unskilled tasks, such as painting, carpentry, landscaping, etc.
If you are interested in volunteering with RTNO, please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page for registration information.
Become an Advocate
Whether or not you have volunteered with Rebuilding Together New Orleans, you can be an advocate for RTNO homeowners and New Orleans. Although the recovery effort has come a long way since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the rebuilding of New Orleans is not finished. Advocating for New Orleans informs others of the rebuilding and revitalization of a fabulous city. Whether it’s petitioning your congressman on Capitol Hill or simply talking to your friends over coffee; lending your support and increasing awareness of the perils and preservation of New Orleans creates the building blocks for change.
