Rebuilding Together New Orleans provides essential health and safety repairs for eligible homeowners. Our goal is simple: help neighbors remain safely in the homes they love by addressing the repairs that matter most.
We focus on work that improves safety, stability, accessibility, and overall housing conditions.
What We Do
Our services address critical needs inside and outside the home. Projects may include:
Roof repairs and replacements (including FORTIFIED™ upgrades when available)
Weatherization improvements
Drywall repair
Flooring repair or replacement
Exterior painting and siding repair
Accessibility modifications (grab bars, ramps, safety adjustments)
General safety-related repairs
All repairs are based on funding availability, program guidelines, and an in-home assessment.
What We Do Not
To ensure we can serve as many households as possible, we are not able to provide:
Total home rebuilds
Demolition
Major foundation work
Major electrical or plumbing overhauls
Cosmetic-only improvements
Emergency repairs
If your needs fall outside our scope, we may be able to connect you with other community resources.
